POLAND regained the World Under-21 team title with a last heat decider victory over Denmark in Friday night's Speedway of Nations 2 event in Prague.
The British team of Will Cairns, Luke Harrison and Cooper Rushen missed out on the bronze medal by the narrowest of margins, finishing in a three-way tie with Germany and Australia, which was settled in the Germans' favour by virtue of their greater number of bonus points. It was the Poles' 18th victory in the event, secured when paid maximum man Wiktor Przyjemski and Bartosz Banbor teamed up for a Heat 28 7-2 over Danish duo Villads Nagel and Bartosz Banbor. • Full coverage from Prague in next week's Speedway Star.
