REDCAR'S Charles Wright has become the season's first injury victim.
The Bears' No. 1 crashed in the last race of Friday night's Tyne-Tees Trophy match against a Newcastle Select, which the visitors won by 49-35. Wright was taken to hospital where a dislocated and fractured shoulder was diagnosed. The Redcar management have since confirmed their captain faces a lengthy period on the sidelines.
